Is there a way to recovery data when it is empty from the recycle bin?

Post by zinzin112 » Fri Sep 27, 2019 9:19 pm

Hi, I'm Zin.
I had a big problem about 3 days ago.
I mistakenly deleted an important file and also ran the CCleaner software to delete everything in the recycle bin.
Now I want to recover, is there any way?
Thanks!

That depends. What type of storage device in your computer HDD или SSD? If the first, this article should help you, assuming you have a Windows system: So, what do you have to do to get deleted files back?.

If you ran ccleaner, I doubt anything can be recovered there no matter what the storage device is. I'm pretty sure that program will overwrite the sectors.

Maybe you can find an old version of the file(s) by scanning the drive though. If it was stored in different sectors at some point in time there might be another copy somewhere to be found.
