When I do a scan sometimes it shows the same name of a directory/file many times. In the directories only one will have the indicator that it has child objects.
Am I choosing some incorrect options? Can I select on only the directories that have child object and files that have a non-zero byte count so I don't have so many of the same name?

Most likely, you created and deleted in a while several folders with the same name. Or the file system of the disk is corrupted in some way. You may configure R-Studio to not show empty folders by clearing Show empty folders on the Mask dialog box. See R-Studio help: FIle Masks for more details.

Thanks, that worked. I have no doubt of corruption of the fs. It had viruses, was re-formatted AND had Win installed AND updates!
