Startup Disc - Text mode vs GUI mode

Post by drgarner » Fri Aug 09, 2013 9:03 am

I know this may seem a petty request but since you have introduced the GUI mode in the startup disc I am finding that I prefer the text mode version. The problem is that the startup disc defaults to the GUI mode and only stays on the selection screen for a few seconds to allow the operator to select text mode if they want. During busy times I boot the disc while doing other things and will inevitably miss the prompt thus requiring another reboot. I wish there was a way to create a text mode only startup disk or make text mode the default. These could be options that the user would select when they create the startup disc in the first place. Can I add this to the wish list? Perhaps you guys have already discussed this and it's forthcoming. Here's hoping. Thanks for a great product - it beats all the other imaging products hands-down!
