Hi
I had a bad accident with a Thecus NAS 2520. After deinstalling XBMC over the Web-GUI and restarting the system, my hole data-directory was away.
It was about 1,5TB of data. The HDD is a 3TB Barracuda.
It was configured as RAID 1 (mirroring) with 5 ext4-Partitions.
The RAID is still working, when I start the NAS with one of the HDDs.
The following lines shows the output of "parted -l"(in german):
-----------------------------------------------------------
root@optibuntu:~# parted -l
Modell: ATA ST3000DM001-1CH1 (scsi)
Festplatte /dev/sdb: 3001GB
Sektorgröße (logisch/physisch): 512B/4096B
Partitionstabelle: gpt
Nummer Anfang Ende Größe Dateisystem Name Flags
 4 1049kB 10,7GB 10,7GB RAID
 5 10,7GB 21,5GB 10,7GB RAID
 1 21,5GB 23,6GB 2147MB RAID
 3 23,6GB 24,2GB 537MB RAID
 2 24,2GB 3001GB 2976GB RAID
----------------------------------------------------------
My Problem is, that R-Studio (MAC-version 4.5.2750) detects the HDD with only 746GB instead of the 3000GB.
Although I choose to scan the second partition that shows 2976GB it seems to be that it scans only the 746GB
So I tried to scan the part over the 746GB at Sektor 1900000000 to 5813303296.
The result was an empty screen.
What is the problem the R-Studio?
Why doesn't R-Studio recognize the hole partition or at least scan the hole partition?
Thanx in advance

What does your Mac itself show in the disk utility? Mac cannot understand ext4 directly, but it can show the drive size.
And try our new version of R-Studio for Mac.

Try using another docking station . If you use an adapter which doesn't support more than 2TB drive , it will show around 700GB on rstudio or disk utility.
