Startup Disc Not Working - Hyper V
Hello,
Our first version of R-Drive was v5.208, now we are using v.6.0. Version 5.208 will boot when using Hyper V on Windows 8.1 x64, but when we use a newer version V.5.3+, it will boot the startup disc but will show just a green bar on the screen and there is no display. Can this be looked into? It's effecting our ability to test new features and troubleshoot. Tried Graphic and Safe mode.
Thanks,

This build should resolve this issue.
Re: Startup Disc Not Working - Hyper V
I happened to have a similar issue trying to run R-Drive 5.3+ in HyperV. I downloaded the new 6.0 Build 6002 version; I tried using the start-up version of it in HyperV, and the "safe VGA mode" does not work. The regular GUI mode does work; however, I like to run the "safe VGA mode" for lower resolution, so I don't have to scroll the HyperV window vertically and horizontally.
Below is the screen I get in safe VGA mode with 6002.

Re: Startup Disc Not Working - Hyper V
Looks like there's an incompatibility between the VESA video driver used in the Safe VGA mode and HyperV. The way around is to start in the normal VGA mode and then change video resolution by clicking the About button.
Re: Startup Disc Not Working - Hyper V
Thank you for the help, but...
VESA video driver is a general driver that isn't bound to any specific hardware.
