Please support removing traces of VSO Downloader

Post by stardust » Sat Apr 02, 2016 12:59 am

VSO Downloader is a Windows-based utility for downloading media files from the internet. It works well for sites that aren't compatible with browser-based video downloader extensions, and comes from a reputable vendor. Please consider adding the data accumulated by this application to R-Wipe&Clean's list.

Logging of downloaded files can be disabled. Unfortunately, VSO Downloader still maintains a record of every downloaded file in a separate directory, and there is no option to prevent this, or to clean it up automatically.

VSO Downloader home page:
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/dow ... loader.php

The directories I would suggest wiping are:

C:\ProgramData\VSO\VSO Downloader\4\items\finished
* Information on files that have finished downloading. Data includes file name, URL, etc.

C:\ProgramData\VSO\VSO Downloader\4\log
* Log files. This can be disabled within the application as well.

C:\ProgramData\VSO\VSO Downloader\4\items\progress
* Information on files that are currently downloading or were interrupted. These files are automatically removed when the downloads complete. This should probably be red/not selected by default within R-Wipe&Clean.

Thank you.

I've passed your suggestion to our developers.
Meanwhile you can use Wipe lists to wipe those folders: Wipe lists.
