Are any schools or colleges using R:Drive for imaging especially in a lab environment?

Does R:Drive work with Vitual Desktop Infrastructure? We may be implementing VDI next summer and we need to know if R:Drive Imaging will work with VDI/ThinClient computers.

trying to image to an external usb drive. plenty of storage space. The image process works but takes all day. It's of no use to use if it takes 8 hours to create a basic image. Just wondering if this is normal.????

Brand new Dell optiplex 775 computer..2gb of ram, etc. No antivirus is on the image. Fresh image that we use for all of our computers..just XP with Office.

Why does it take so long to create a very basic image? It is a fresh image with only XP and Office. It's taking all day to create. Settings are all default except moved speed to the fastest setting. What am I doing wrong?
