Re: raid on adaptec 3805

it is determined by block size or disk size or something else ?

Re: raid on adaptec 3805

Hi,

ok I have connected all disks to a sata controller, so I can see all disks. I can also see the data on the which seems to be intact. I can see for example partial jpg images where parts are missing. I can also see the directory structure.

I know that the stripe size was 512 kb, but for some ...

Re: Recommended Ram for r-studio x64

Well, I added 4 gb, so its 8 gb ram and installed win 7 x64. it took 11:37 hours to scan my drive.

I did the same scan before asking here with 4 GB ram and win 7 x86 and it took 10:03 hours for the exact same scan.

I am kind of lost. I had an adaptec 3805 raid 5 with 4 disks. I accidentally deleted the good array, so all disks are operational. I know the disk order, at least i know which cable / channel went to which disk.
Boot disk was separate plain sata, so no boot from array.

I am trying to rebuild ...

r-studio x64

Hi,

I just installed r-studio x64 demo on my 64 bit os.

It installed itself into the x86 folder and in the about box or anywhere is no mention of the x64 version.

Is there any way to verify if its the x64 version or did I get the wrong download ?

cheers
