I just upgraded to build 6205. When I perform a scripted backup I see the following message:
buffer alignment was changed 4 => 4096 for drive c:
What does this mean? I did not see this message in build 6004.
Thanks!

Src sel scrn (raid) does not show drv parts on same line
I am a long time user of R-Drive Image but with the latest releases I have run into some GUI/TUI issues while attempting to perform a backup with the startup media. If the source server has two physical drives configured as RAID-1 using the MB embedded RAID functionality (Intel Matrix Manager) the ...

Startup Disc - Text mode vs GUI mode
I know this may seem a petty request but since you have introduced the GUI mode in the startup disc I am finding that I prefer the text mode version. The problem is that the startup disc defaults to the GUI mode and only stays on the selection screen for a few seconds to allow the operator to select ...

pagefile.sys not excluded from disk image
I have been using r-driveimage for a few years and really like it. Recently I started using v5.0.5007 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 installation with 24 GB of memory. The disk image backup (and restore) worked fine but I noticed that the size of the image file was much larger than it should be. I did ...

Re: Flashing status line in build 5.0.5005 TUI
I made a mistake in my description of the problem. The problem is with the text mode progress bar that is displayed during a scripted backup launched from Windows. I am very sorry for this error in my original post. I tried to upload a file with this post that has a screen capture of the problem but ...

Flashing status line in build 5.0.5005 TUI
I am a long time user of r-drive image version 4. I just started using version 5 and have noticed a minor but very annoying bug in the TUI (Text User Interface) during a restore: The status line flashes needlessly. It appears that the programmer wrote the code to refresh the status line in a fast ...

Re: R-Drive Image & Windows Server 2003 R2 & 2008
Sakato, Support,
I am interested in how you were able to run R-Drive Image to do the restore while in the WinPE boot CD environment. Can you please elaborate. I would like to try this method (instead of using the Linux-based CD). I already have a WinPE boot disk.
Thanks,
Dave
