Re: Demo Expiration?

1. the software was installed as the local sysop / ADMIN user.
2. this is a brand new dev pc. i did NOT attempt to tamper with the date on the machine in any way whatsoever.

If your software is going to be limited in any way, we simply cannot use it. I was interested in purchasing a site license ...

Re: Demo Expiration?

Well the sales dept was worthless. They "talked to the developers" and said that I wasn't installing it as an admin user and I could use the bootable version etc. This is not acceptable. If I can't get this to work in production and show my boss how it works, this project will die. I have everything ...

Demo Expiration?

I have been doing my best to test R-Drive whilst still doing my normal job - it has not been easy. To that end, I'm not trying to do anything illegal here - I'm fairly certain that my company will purchase this software once I demo it to them. We are a bank, so everything moves really slowly ...

Re: Limiting the Backup...

Ok, so I now have a full backup that runs weekly and incremental backups that run daily (every 30 mins for testing) - and I still get a TON of files. I'm at 48 incremental backups now. Here's the commands it's running:

for the incremental backup:

r-driveimagecl.exe append -append-inc="true" /a /o ...

Limiting the Backup...

Perhaps I'm going about this the wrong route, but I want to be sure that R-Drive will remove old backup files when necessary. So for testing (as I only have 15 days to trial this software...) I scheduled a incremental backup every 30 minutes. It does the full backup on its own and the backups kick ...
