Create startup disk fails

This is exactly the problem and the symptoms that I had when attempting the same thing. I contacted support. I sent them all the logs. They first told me to try a bigger flash drive. I wrote back and told them I'd already tried different drives, all plenty big enough, and asked did they even look at my logs? What do they indicate? They answered that they don't see any reason except it looks like the connection dropped momentarily.

So now I see others have the same issue. Stops at 79% on the nose.

I think you guys better look into this, and not pass it off as a glitch.

PS. My logs were full of messages or errors that were meaningless to me, but even I could look at them and see that something isn't going right - over and over. I was not satisfied with the support I got. But this isn't about me. Please check into this issue.

I saw this exact same issue. I am running Windows 11 PRO with the latest R-Image Update and tried to create a Windows PE environment USB drive and it said it failed to create the startup disk. Stopped in the 70s as well. Any fix for this yet?

I have the exact same problem. Stops at 79% every time and leaves the flash drive with only unallocated space. I submitted log and system dump files. Not a good introduction to an otherwise well thought out program. Hope they can fix this quickly.

This is an addendum to my earlier post that just occurred to me after reading the previous post above:

I was trying to make ISO images, in addition to flash drives. But the issue is identical in stopping at 79%.

Yes. A USB key.

My flash drives yes: 32 and 64 GB.
It also failed making an ISO file.
