R-drive image version 7.2.7203

Post by Jims13 » Mon Aug 26, 2024 7:06 pm

I’m trying to restore my c drive from backup and I’ve found the backup fine, but it doesn’t see my c drive as a target. What could be wrong? I have no clue. Hackers have accessed my pc so I don’t know what they’ve done. Thanks.

Does your hardware see the hard drive where the system disk resides?
If yes, Do you use R-Drive Image startup version: Startup Version.
If yes, what does R-Drive Image see on the Image Object Selection panel as Destination?

Yes

Yes

It only shows external drives. I have an e drive and h drive but they don’t show up. They are internal

I generated the windows startup back in 2023. I updated it in the past couple of days. Does that help?

I know this is not easy for the startup version, but can you provide me with a screenshot of the Object Selection panel as Destination. Maybe, a photo?

Would that be in the process of restoring the drive or somewhere else. I can take a photo with my phone no problem. Just want to be sure I’m thinking of the right spot

Thanks so much for the help

Yes.
The startup version of R-Drive Image may change disk letters. If this doesn't help, you'll need to contact our techsupport and provide with some certain info.

Omgosh. I started to restore from backup, but now in that step, it only shows my connected drives, not my external drives. I have a screen print of that step and my disk management pic that shows all of my drives. I have one external 8tb one disconnected right now.

Thank you. Now select the image file on these disks and go further one step. You should something like this: Image Date/Time Selection. That's when your internal hard drives should appear.
If not, you'll have to go to our techsupport to investigate what's wrong.

My image files are on my external drives, not the internal ones, since those are being backed up. Does that help?
