Has anyone here used R-Wipe&Clean for securely wiping hard drives or SSDs? I'm curious about the effectiveness of its disk wiping features and whether it meets industry standards for data security. Any tips or recommendations for optimal settings?
I know many R-Wipe & Clean users, but I think none of them use R-Wipe & Clean to clean up free disk space.
Compared to other Windows cleaners, the main advantage of the R-Wipe & Clean is its ability to detect and remove all kinds of traces both in the system itself and in browsers and third-party applications, even in games.
Even some former CCleaner developers told me that some traces being removed by CCleaner were originally being removed in R-Wipe & Clean.
Also R-Wipe & Clean has a touch interface, very convenient on tablets and Surface.

I haven't used laptops with HDD for many years.
I don’t see the point in cleaning free space on an SSD, since I've never been able to recover the contents of accidentally deleted files on such disks.
Sometimes I clean MFT to remove stored names of deleted files.
I think this works perfectly.
Only, unlike other utilities specifically designed for cleaning disks, for some reason the R-Wipe & Clean creates temporary files on the disk being cleaned.

In the menu on the Settings tab, you can view Free Drive Space and Files Wiping.
I use Zeroes or Pseudo-random cleaning algorithms.
I think more complex algorithms are not needed for SSDs.
