I am a first time user of R-Drive Image. I love it but I have not until today tried to restore anything.
I'm running Windows on a Dell desktop. I use Firefox. My R-Drive is up to date and I'm a licensed user, but I'm confused about restoring an image.
Now after I totally screwed up one piece of software I need to restore the file folder containing it and I can't seem to do that.
I launched R-Drive and clicked restore. The select image file window does not show any "last used images". The file structure of my computer is shown and I can click on the folder I want to restore, but at that point the "next" button is grayed out. If I click on "connect to cloud" (I dont know what that does) and choose Google drive (I'm running Windows on a Dell desktop), it just spins on "connecting...". I'm logged on to my gmail account, but that didn't help.
Please help me. I NEED to restore the software I screwed up!

Maybe, this help page Restore Data from an Image -> Restoring selected files and folders can help you.
Re: need help restoring a file folder first try
Thanks, but no, it does not. In my OP I said when I do what that says the window called "last used images" is empty. There is no image from which I can select any files or folders or anything else I want to restore. No matter what I click on the detailed file structure below the last used images window, the next button remains grayed out and I can do nothing further except click on connect to cloud which didn't seem to do anything either.
I'll keep trying something else.

Re: need help restoring a file folder first try
You need to navigate to the folder where the last image resides and select it. If there's no any images that contain the necessary folder, you can't restore anything.
