I have a client that has lost some music. Is there away to get r-studio to look for those files or look for specified names.

Well, if you want to search for specific file names and/or extensions, you may use file search.
See for more details: http://www.unformat-unerase.com/Unforma ... index.html -> Data Recovery Using R-Studio -> Basic File Recovery -> Searching for a File.
If you want to search those files using file file signatures (Known File Types), you need to know a file signature for this file type and add it to R-Studio Known File Type list.
