LVM

Post by mjatalla »

When will recovery of LVM be supported by R-Studio? This would be a great feature that I bet many would be happy to have at their disposal. Thanks.

Alt, that would be outstanding! Is there an approximate time frame for its release?

I'm very reluctant in giving exact date, because when I do that, something happens that makes us to postponed releasing the feature.

Alt, I understand it perfectly. I have a WD Sharespace Raid5 that I have been trying to recover with R-Studio. I tried several different ways and am able to get the smaller files back, but everything else is garbled. I would be happy to beta test any LVM enabled version you have on my disks (copies of the originals).

Alt, do you have an update on LVM support? I need to recover a RAID 5 with files needed for the tax season... Thanks in advance!

+1 on LVM

It's confusing how a years-old technology that is used in such an ubiquitous fashion is not yet supported.
I don't intend to purchase this product (or any other) until it does. LVM over RAID is... quite common for my day-to-day.
